Kushee Ravi has a deep appreciation for festivals and eagerly anticipates the upcoming celebrations during this time of year. Growing up, her maternal home celebrated all festivals in a grand manner. However, after getting married, they were unable to uphold all the traditions. Two years ago, after moving into a new home, they now have the space and opportunity to celebrate festivals with enthusiasm. The festive season begins with Varamahalakshmi habba, which holds a special place in Kushee's heart. Fondly known as Dia Kushee, she shares that traditional festivals bring out their culinary skills. Kushee expresses her admiration for her mother-in-law and describes their early mornings dedicated to preparing for Varamahalakshmi puja. The family, dressed in their best attire, gathers for the puja, and the atmosphere is filled with enthusiasm. They invite family and friends, particularly those who cannot have the goddess idol at their homes, to join in the festivities. Traditional dishes like obbattu and sajjige are essential parts of their festival menu.
